Things to think about before treatment
- Come without eye make-up and lenses
- Plan to shower/wash your hair beforehand as you must not get your lashes wet for at least 24 hours after your treatment.
Things to think about after the treatment
- Leave the lashes as long as possible for 24 hours.
- Avoid showers, baths, saunas, activities that induce sweating for at least 24 hours.
- Avoid products containing oils and mascara for at least 24 hours.
- Avoid using waterproof mascara after doing the lash lift for longer durability.
- Treat your lashes with a keratin serum between treatments to strengthen lashes and make them last longer.
What is a lash lift?
A lash lift is exactly what it sounds like, an eyelash lift. During the treatment, the own eyelashes are carefully attached to a silicone coil, then two different liquids are applied and in this way a permanent bend is created. The lashes are dyed and caring keratin is finally applied. The treatment gives you a fresher look, you avoid the lash curler and the lashes look significantly longer.
I have short lashes, is the treatment suitable for me?
A lash lift can be done on most people, as long as you have existing lashes. It is possible to bend the lashes even though they are short.
How often should the treatment be repeated to maintain the effect?
After about 6-8 weeks. Durability varies from person to person and from time to time. How quickly the bend disappears depends on how often you replace your own straws. Sometimes you lose more lashes than usual and then you need to come more often.
Can you have an allergic reaction?
Yes you can. However, this is very unusual, but if you know that you are extra sensitive or have reacted to other treatments, a spot test can be done beforehand.
Can I do the treatment if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Yes you can. In some cases, the result may be affected by hormones, but experience says that it often works perfectly.
